Lydia Lynn Harner born January 27, 1997 and passed away April 14, 2007.
She was 10 years old. She lived in Dayton, Ohio. She has 2 sisters. Emily is the oldest. Laura is her youngest sister. She has a brother or sister in heaven with her. Then 3 brothers younger than the one in heaven. Gabriel, Gideon, and Grayson. She was like a second mother to them and any baby she was around.
She fell out the window of our car and the car ran over her head, crushed her skull, and instantly killed her.
She was named after an elder lady we met in Bible College. We called the lady "Grandma" Lydia. When I found out I was pregnant I asked "Grandma" Lydia if I could name our baby after her because I loved the name. "Grandma" Lydia started crying and said that none of her kids thought her name was pretty enough to name their kids. When our baby was born we named her Lydia. Lynn is after Chris' Mom's middle name.
Lydia was my little mother hen. She helped out a lot with her brothers. She loved them. Gideon would run to her when ever he would get in trouble with me. She also would help others our with their babies was always right there asking about others babies and if she could hold them. Chris' cousin had a baby in March and her tubes tied in May. Lydia volunteered to watch her baby while she recovered. How many nine year olds do you know would watch a 2 year old and 1 month old at their house while their mommy is sleeping.
